Security

We've designed multiple layers of security to ensure the safety of your data while giving you an effective way of allowing your staff access to only what they need.

To login, a username and password is required. Passwords must be strong, must be changed periodically, and cannot be reused. Accounts will lock out if excessive failed login attempts are made. Administrators of the system can maintain users including setting up new users, resetting passwords and deactivating existing users.

Application security allows you to grant access to specific modules and features for each user or role. You start by creating Roles. Roles can inherit from other roles allowing you to design an efficient, simple hierarchy of roles with increasing security access. A user can be assigned to multiple roles to fit the needs of a diverse user community. The setup screens are easy and intuitive as they are presented in identical fashion as the system menus.

MITAS will track changes to the database at the field level. A date and time stamp, was-is information and user ID are tracked for every change.
