Scalability

As a web based system, scalability is at the core of the system design. Web services are used to provide all core functions. Although the entire application can be run on one server, it can also take advantage of an unlimited number of servers and virtual servers to give the redundancy and performance needed for every size organization.

Users access everything via a common web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox. Since most reports and forms are delivered in PDF, a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Reader is also recommended.

All data is stored in Microsoft SQL Server to ensure that even the largest databases can be accomodated while maintaining superior speed.
