As a family owned business, The Mitas Group, Inc. has been designing application software and implementing automated business solutions since 1969. That's over 30 years! We've been working with HFAs for 17 of those 30 years, and developing for PC networks for the last 15 years.

Our Section 8 Philosophy
The MITAS Section 8 Contract Administration System is designed to provide the Contract Administrator (CA) with sophisticated "tools" for submitting annual Work Plans. These work plans are the model for which the CA must follow to achieve an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of performance in meeting the Incentive Based Performance Standard (IBPS) requirements within each Core Task. The "tools" needed to accomplish this goal can be found in our TRACS processing module, Internet TRACS Collection System (ITCS), Asset Management, and Incident Tracking software.

We believe that the success of every system implemented is dependent upon the ability to integrate all aspects of the project. For example, utilizing a common database system, agencies that specialize in Multi-Family housing can track multiple programs and funding sources within MITAS, eliminating the need for several software applications. Product Design
Our products are designed to be fully integrated, menu driven and user friendly. We have built in security checks and a history of changes both at the program and field levels. Our systems are designed for interactive data entry including on-line Help, and are compatible with popular third party products such as Microsoft® Word®, Access® & Excel® for query and reporting. Written for a 32bit Windows environment, many of our products are web enabled for remote connectivity over the Internet.
